Doug Atkinson has been writing professionally since 2014, when he started as an Associate Producer for the TV news channel CBS 21. Since then, he’s been a content writer for iHire and Presbyterian Senior Living, as well as the social media manager for Linganore Winecellars and Red Shedman Farm Brewery.

Doug is a creative and effective storyteller with a wide range of professional experience in online marketing, social media, PR, news, and video production. He is a quick multi-tasker, and able to manage multiple projects with great attention to detail. Always a team player, Doug works well in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure.

When he’s not being a writing nerd, you can find Doug being a regular nerd. He loves playing video games, reading sci-fi & fantasy, and watching TV with his wife and three dogs.
